Introduction to blogging

Hello my name is Heather Landry.  I enjoy reading for the most part.  Sometimes it seems like a daunting task if the subject is strictly history, but with persistence it find my way through those readings.  Lately, I have not been able to read as much, but I do enjoy murder mysteries by James Patterson and of course, I am a Twilight junkie, written by Stephanie Meyer.  To start the class with a literature assignment of reading Finn I am a little concerned about finishing on time, but will do my best.  Good luck to all!

  1. I like to read only if it is something that interests me. I took a History class last semester and I had a hard time reading the material because it was a very long time ago. I like history if it is recent and relative but in the historical times I really do not care to much about. I did learn a lot in that class even though it was difficult to read the materials. I have not been able to read near as much as I would like to but that is because I am so busy in being a wife, mother, and a student. I am in 4 classes this semester and each of them require an extensive amount of reading. I love to read mysteries and romance stories. I also like reading Dave Pelzer's book about when he was a child. The most famous book by him is "A Child Called It" and that book has really touched me in many different ways. I am now trying to read all the sequels to that book. Our first reading assignment in this class is very long and the language in the book is hard to understand as well. I am hoping that I can finish it on time but who knows. I hope that you have a wonderful semester and have the best of luck with all the reading assignments.
